The finished product.  Screened in porch, stone walkway, a tree stump on the corner there should you like to sit a spell and watch the girls. What more could you ask for?   A stump farther away would be good.
What you see here is the side that we feed and water the hens from.  Since this picture was taken, Bryan has installed a big plexiglass window so we can see inside.  Scared the bajeebers out of the hens for about a week!
The nest boxes where we’re hopeful the 12 hens who remain each will grace us with an egg on a daily basis.  One can hope.
Little britches helping
to install the perches
inside the coop.
Happy Chickens sunning themselves on the porch.

The rear window and clean-out door.  Plexi-glass window give light and a view for perching hens.  Removable for extra summer ventilation.
